Are you an energetic undergraduate or graduate student who s seeking an incredible paid internship program? Delaware North internshipsare paid and can be completed for academic credit. Spring internship dates typically span 10-14 weeks between February 10th to May 15th, 2020. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience and make an impact in a global company.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an intern to join the Financial Systems team.

All Delaware North interns participate in the Delaware North Intern Experience which includes opportunities for career and leadership development, mentoring and coaching, and corporate intern training.

Corporate interns work at our global headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y., an iconic, 12-story glass-walled building in the vibrant hub of the new and historic heart of downtown Buffalo. The headquarters integrates the latest advances in environmental energy conservation and office design and features cutting-edge technology.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be to support the technical delivery of enhanced and standardized processes through application support and development of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM, Oracle Data Mart, and Oracle Business Intelligence.

Directly assists Financial Systems leadership and team in supporting the Hyperion Planning stakeholders and end-user community.

Supports the assessment of new system functionality against business needs and implement solutions.

Communicates clearly and accurately, and helps in the preparation of management reports and presentations.

Learning Objectives:.

Increase working knowledge of databases and complex systems relations

Develop technical skillset

Initiate personal contacts and build out professional network

Requirements:

Pursuing a Degree (e.g., Bachelor s/Master s candidate): Bachelor s in Business Admin, MS in Finance or Accounting

Area of Study(s): Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting

Software/Technical Skills: Working knowledge of relational databases & SQL

Other Skills or Experience: Excellent communication skills both oral and written required, ability to work on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment, & Self-driven
