Summary: This paid intern will be required to work the following - 40 hours per week for one year duration. The intern will work within the Corporate Ingredient Department under the guidance and supervision of the Technical Sales Manager. The intern will provide limited contributions to the Ingredients sales team by pursuing new business development through collaboration with the Vice President- Ingredients in proposing new development and pricing strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The main goals would be to further develop the business of Lactalis Ingredients protein within the Sports Nutrition & Active Lifestyle space ; with a primary focus on the US market as well as a support on other international markets (Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America)Business development: Entrepreneurship Support team to launch new Retail initiatives of products formulated with protein within Lactalis North America Group for private labels and / or own Retail brands. Project Management Digital Writing introductory and follow up emails : introduction self, the company, the brand and the purpose Explaining the project/brand via email and / or in person Researching and reaching out to vendors- external partners, for marketing services, for packaging and marketing materials Execution and organization of the plan Team meetings : presenting & leading Work collaboratively with corporate partners including accounting, customer service, logistics and shipping, product development. Brand Educator Point of sales and sampling Compiling potential sales targets Reaching out to grassroots sales targets & follow up Coordinating sampling events at point of sales or samplingInfluencers Compiling potential influencers and athletes Reaching out to influencers/ athletes & build relationships, follow and tracking their engagement Work in collaboration with media agency to manage influencers program Sales Development: grass roots sales & e-commerce Responsible for all outreach to grass root local business and community leaders; including Zoom and face to face meetings to present and explain the new product. Responsible for local sales execution; payments, logistics, including labeling, orders, shipping. Assisting in developing on line sales Marketing initiatives Development of marketing strategy ideas : digital (social media, website), sampling, activation points of sales, relation community programs Competitor brand research Brainstorming creative problem-solving solutions Providing feedback and aiding in the development of brand assets Gather consumers feedback (ex: online survey)Creating marketing assets Assisting in creation of marketing materials sales deck, created flyers and labels, digital assets (website, social media) Working with the graphic design team to optimize assets by providing team feedback Creation of PowerPoint presentations (of sample plans, social media strategy, influencer programs) Marketing Brief & 1st draft of creative assets ; Layout and copywriting of creative assets (ie flyer, coupons)Sampling - Sales Execution Filling sample bags and mailing them out - keeping sample room organized Facilitating orders execution at local level B2B (ingredient) business development initiation: marketing, customer service and sales initiation Focusing on driving awareness for unique protein PRONATIV , Native whey protein (ingredient) Be initiated to digital marketing strategy : inbound marketing Find potential new customers (B2B) within the space Share with sales team ; potential targets, innovations and consumers insights Provide administrative assistance to sales team ; developing, handling and sharing documents as well as supporting any sample requestsThis description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.RequirementsQualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. With preferences sensitive to Sports and active lifestyle space and / or nutrition. The candidate should be a recent college graduate. There would be a preference for a degree in in Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales or another relevant field, but would also consider someone with a degree with a background in Nutrition/Dietitian Specialized Knowledge An ideal candidate would have knowledge of sports and wellness with a passion for a healthy lifestyle. Skills/Abilities Creative problem solver Personable Organized Curious Adaptable Resourceful Strong communication skills are required Ability to work independently Proficiency in Excel and Word, PPT presentation are necessary Feeling at ease with Digital tools (Google Analytics, Word press, Social Media platforms).
