Fun teacher, but not especially clear. I always am unsure of when projects are due and what to do on projects. But if you know your spanish, her exams are really simple. haven't studied for one and get 95's. journal entries and papers are common. homework projects take a while when using textbook. If you like fun courses I'd suggest this.
I really like brea. Shes really hillarious and very friendly. Wasn't that difficult of a class but still a lot of work involved if u want a great grade. At the end of the year a lot of projects were thrown at us and it got to be challenging and brought my grade down. Not a bad class but I wish it would have prepared me better for higher level SPN courses.
This must have been Brea's first time teaching Composition because she did not do a great job of it. I worked by butt off for a B-. No one went to class (I went everyday) and it didn't even matter because we did nothing substantial to help us with our writing. Our projects were unclear and her feedback was useless. Learned nothing from her.
Brea is such a cute and hillarious lady, but I wasn't such a big fan of her teaching methods. She'll definitely go over new topics but there's going to be material that she won't cover, and you'll have to learn it on your own while studying. It's not too difficult or tedious though. She can be an simple A if you do study.
She was certainly a little loco and would reveal personal information about students to the class (things from e-mails, who dropped, etc.). Her teaching methods were frustrating and seemed pointless sometimes but the exams and hw were simple
Brea is great! She is really, really hillarious. She explains everything, including grammar, in Spanish, so be prepared to actually listen. Her requirements aren't bad. She makes class so entertaining, though! |
