If you get a bad grade in this class, it's your fault. All of the answers for his exams can either be found in the power points or in the textbook, and if you come across something you can't find, just look it up online. The exams are anytime during the weekend, and it's online, so just Google a question if you can't find it. Highly recommended.
He is a very friendly guy, but that's probably the most that can be said about him. He doesn't know what he's talking about when he's teaching and exams are very difficult, even though they're open note. I didn't learn anything in that class and the material is very biased. Avoid him for science core.
Although his class and teaching method is dull, if you read the textbook and study exactly what he says, you should easily get an A.
tests are tough, but answers can be found online. While the exams are not very simple, I can guarantee that they are easier than any other Chem 118 prof.'s. If you read the book, and do a modest amount of studying you will get a B+. Also, courses are a joke. Don't even go.
Very friendly man - but courses are useless. tests are google-able, exams are much more difficult than necessary.
great choice for chem 2. His courses are a waste, but his exam are pretty simple if you read the book. Don't listen to people who say the quizes are difficult. Be resourceful and look up the questions online on google. ;)
he doesnt make his own powerpoint slides, so the exams always have much more difficult material on them. he also takes an average of 5 days to open his emails, and is rarely available for help.
He finds these powerpoint presentations from some community college and uses them as the basis of his lecture. The powerpoints are very dumbed down and are not indicative at all of what's going to be on his quizes (which are murder), or his exams (which are difficult if you don't teach yourself well enough). He does eliminate difficult sections. |
