I learned a ton in this class and I thought her projects were great if you are truly seeking to learn the material. However, I will probably not take her again-its not worth it-her class was my lowest grade. You have to put in a ton of time if you want above a B
By no means does an simple prof., but if you go to class and pay attention, you'll learn a lot.She does have a tendency to unimpartially snap at students in class at times, but outside of class is probably one of the most accessible prof.s there is.Do the reading, go to class, ask for help, and let it slide off if she snaps at you, you'll do fine.
Learned a lot in this class. It was very difficult but if you are going to continue in plsc, its worth it. She is a tough grader but not impossible and she's very accessible outside of class. Do the reading, if you are not prepared she WILL call you out on it. Overall a very great, knowledgeable prof though she is a bit difficult and rough.
Politics of South Asia: she is in love with India so we spent most of the semester on India which was frustrating because we didn't cover any other country. That said, she is very intelligent and I learned a great deal. She is a tough grader but not impossible to do well. B+ is a very great grade with her.
I read & re-read every chapter of the mindnumbing books, copied her notes word for word, and STILL only ended up with a B-! Class was very frustrating due to the impossible grading/workload. She also picks favorites and then talks down to everyone else. Def a women on a power trip so TAKE ANOTHER PROF for Poli Sci credits. |
