If you are not great with exams, stay away. Although he gives an simple paper which makes up 20% of the final grade. Also I have never met a prof. who doesn't show up for exams (makes the TAs do everything), and tells students to stay put when the fire alarm is going off so he can finish his story. |

Definitely take him for intro courses. Ignore everyone else that says to run away or that hes very tough-- they were lazy. He is dull, but cultural anthro takes care of 2 core credits, and if you take specific notes, read the books (which are actually fascinating), and study all your notes, you will get an A. Bring a laptop& type everything! |

You have to attend class, because he doesn't put any information online, but he is incredibly fascinating to listen to. His class made me pursue Anthropology further. Would definitely recommend! |
