Never teaches, makes group projects since she doesnt know anything. She cant say words like war, is overall a terrible teacher
I don't understand all of the negative feedback. She is well-organized, very friendly, unbiased and simple to take notes from. Class discussion is highly encouraged, but not mandatory. The class is a lot of reading, but that's what you should expect from a 200-level. She knows a lot about the subject and very accommodating outside of class. Highly recommend.
The only serious complaint I have about this class is the clicker questions, which count for 30% of your grade, so they make or break you. Other than that, I thought it was impartially simple if you were awake through any of your high school U.S. history class..it's the same material.
By far the worst prof. I've ever had. Did not learn anything, grades reflect her personal bias, no clarity on projects. friendly lady but useless as a prof.. I would never take her again, avoid her if possible. I ignored this site and took her anyways...big mistake.
Absolutely horrendous. This was the lowest grade I have *ever* gotten in a class. Told me that she thought most of the class' papers were A quality but gave us a C based on a graduate level rubric. Ridiculous. Avoid her.
I tried to give Prof Klotz the benefit of the doubt bc I felt like she tried in her own awkward way to get through to the class & teach, but after the nasty, useless comments she wrote on my final paper I just can't say she's a great prof. She expects so much from the class yet contributes nothing. Don't take her unless you want an inevitable C |
