Makes lectures interesting. Clear presentation of information.
Awesome prof. | |
Kirsh is a very hillarious teacher and I definitely enjoyed his class. He always shows videos that are somehow related to what we are learning and they are a lot of fun. There is no homework in his class, so your grades come from just the three exams, which are not too bad if you read the textbook and go to class. Gives extra credit for psych research.
I did NOT like Kirsh. He was mean, rude when asked questions during office hours, and overall unfriendly. Attendance is apparently not mandatory, but exams ask specific questions such as "which of the following movies were shown in class." If you need a core do not take Kirsh if you like to be more involved and ask the prof. in depth questions.
outstanding prof.! Got so much out of his class! Exam questions come mostly from the lecture, are all multiple choice, and non-cummulative. Makes the material fun and fascinating. You must study a lot for the exams, and if you do the exams are a piece of cake.
Great prof.! liked his class. Share the textbook with someone b/c the exams are all from the notes and in-class videos (so go to class!). You only need to know textbook vocab. There are 3 exams and a final paper. Make sure to have him look at the paper before submitting. simple to do really well on final paper (exam grade). Take this prof!
Very straight forward in what he wants. 3 non-cumulitve exams (uncluding final) and an simple paper on a children's movie. Pretty hillarious guy. Although class attendance isn't manditory, he will put some things on exams that arn't on lecture slides but talked about during class. exams are 85% notes and 15% book, but book only bolded and italized words
Despite what people will tell you, Dr. Kirsh is not a great prof.. He basically rephrases what is on the powerpoints in his lecture, and is not clear. He asks ridiculously detailed questions on exams that are blatantly unimpartial. He is very condescending in office hours and is very short with you. Not a friendly guy. Take Schneider, trust me
Seriously people, this is college. Go to class, study and you'll do fine.
Pretty hillarious guy. Class was always entertaining. Exams are tricky. You will not do well if you don't study. exam questions are 80% from lecture and 20% from textbook. Go to class!
Grade is completely from 3 exams, the final is one of them and is not cumulative. Very hillarious and fascinating in class.
He has the great taste in movies EVER. If that doesn't make a great prof., then I don't know what does.
Helps students understand the importance of valid assessments.Thinks he's hillarious....and he is.
Its not the easiest class in the world, but the prof. makes the content fascinating
He is a great guy. Very hillarious and makes class fascinating. But his jokes can take away from learning. His exams are still difficult even if you read the book and study the notes. Your grade is based on ONLY 3 examS. Thats it. so if you bomb a exam then your grade can be done for.
Makes a lot of jokes in class, but not a very great teacher. exams are multiple choice, but still very difficult, even if you attend class regularly and read the textbook.
friendly guy, tries to joke around and be hillarious, but exams are meant to be very tricky... they seem simple until you get your grade back. |
