Every class is just her ranting about the evils of capitalism. I agree with her on most issues but she spends the entire class preaching her clearly biased views. The class itself is simple enough aside from the 10-20 page take home exam she gives right in the middle of mid year exam week.
Seriously one of the great teachers I have ever encountered at Geneseo. Assigns fascinating readings and is happy to answer any questions you have.
Prof Meyer is the sweeexam lady on the face of the planet & my favorite prof. at Geneseo. Go to class, take great notes, participate, and you don't even have to do the reading unless you're an idiot. Take courses with her!
Great prof., fascinating and fun in courses and making everyone feel at ease when participate in class. Really inspiring. But prof. Meyer, if you ever read this, would you give less long projects plz? the longest paper I have ever written was in your class.
Meyer is very sweet and clear and her class is pretty simple to do well because there are not many projects. She grades easily as well. However, the class was sort of dull because it explained social issues really simply and took a pretty socialist outlook on everything.
Great class! I love prof Meyer, she really enjoys what she does and teaches very well. I didnt read the text and still did very well, just go to every class and take great notes and you should be fine. The few major projects you have are pretty tedious, definitely don't save them for the last minute. exams aren't too bad, as long as you study
prof. Meyer was so fun and she always talked loud and clear for us to stay awake in class. She only believes in take home projects but they aren't simple at all. If you break it down for one essay question a day, its not so bad. I didn't read the textbook at all and I only attended about half the courses and still got an A-. TAKE HER CLASS! |
