His teaching style is very hit-or-miss. He has great discussions in his class and is very accommodating in office hours. He knows a lot about his area, but not a lot beyond that. He has very strong opinions about things and he definitely lets you know. |

Do the reading assigned and take notes.He may know his material but I found him to be rude in class.The great thing is all exams are take home papers,so that helps. |

Comments saying that this is a difficult class which requires reading are justified. This shouldn't be a bad thing, come on, this is college. Oberg is a excellent teacher and a impartial grader, participation is very important. Show interest in his class and he will help you out. very knowledgeable and hillarious |

He is friendly of an a** hole. But he knows his things. He has dry humor that makes the class fun, but he is arrogant in person and not very accommodating. If you get stressed out easily, don't take him. |
