Lab totally depends on who your TA is. Mine was outstanding and let us slack off a lot. As for Reho, he never shows up to lab except for the review session at the end of the semester. He seemed like a jerk at first, but he really is a friendly guy. Five , a final, and a couple of posters/write ups, which were all pretty simple. Not a bad class.
prof. Reho did not teach my lab class, a TA did... he was outstanding. If you can get into a lab section in which the teacher is a TA, you are golden. Reho did a review session for the lab final and I found it very dull. As for the TAs, if you work difficult and show you're interested, they will see it and grade accordingly. Overall, the lab was simple.
I didn't find this lab to be too difficult, even though I'm definitely not a science person. He did teach my section. Likes to talk a lot. Came in when not required to help me with an issue with saving one of the labs. As long as you pay attention and printout the labs before the day you do them, you'll do well on the tests. No textbook required.
Well uhh...he never once showed up to my lab for more than five minutes. It really depends on what section of lab you take - some sections he comes in and teaches, and in others it's completely TA run (and much easier). I've heard he's friendly of a jerk. But hey, I wouldn't know - he never showed up to my class! |
