Fantastic teacher - I learned a lot - she is prepared, enthusiastic, accommodating, and really goes out of her way to make sure we understand the information. Dr. Urso is the first prof at Geneseo to actually come to my practi****placement, observe me, and give me feedback. |

I had a directed study with Dr. Urso for an Edgar's Honor's Project; I additionally had her in SPED 205 Fall 2010 and that's why I did the directed study with her - she is really knowledgeable. She provided me with guidance on research & writing techniques for my thesis. Her edits were always accommodating. A great prof all around. |

Knows a lot about the topic, practical readings; lots of hands on experience and application of theory. I will use what I learned and the resources we had for texts or class projects in my own class - glad I took the course! |

One of the worst prof.s in Geneseo. She does not look to help her students and just comes off as an overall mean person. She teaches Special Ed but actually made a derogatory special ed joke in class. Avoid this "teacher" at all costs. |

Absolutely terrible teacher, you learn nothing, and she's an impossible grader. I lost points on my key assignment for her, tried talking to her about it, she told me I had to follow the grade dispute policy in the syllabus. When I finished with the procedure, she e-mailed me back telling me she was awarding me no points. Really? Terrible!!! |

She is the worst teacher I have had at this school. She does not adequately explain the projects she gives. This is a class that is about teaching accommodations, but she is the LEAST accommodating prof. I have EVER dealt with. She is very obvious in her dislike for adolescent education majors and takes out frustrations on us. Avoid her. |
