Dear God, please dont take a class with this woman. She is terrible, degrading, personally attacks you, is useless in her discussions, doesn't listen to what you have to say, and is just an all-around terrible person. Were it not for the hold on my account, i would have dropped her class on the first day. |

She is without a doubt the worst teacher in Geneseo. She is mean spirited and should not be able to teach. She is condescending towards students, and she is just an awful person. NEW STUDENTS AT GENESEO I PLEAD WITH YOU NOT TO TAKE HER CLASS> YOU WILL REGRET IT |

Wow. I've read the comments that include "arrogant" in them, and I feel that the word is an understatement by a long shot. Arrogant might imply that she is intelligent, knows it, and looks down her nose at people who aren't as intelligent as her, but she looks down her nose at everyone. She is the nastiest, unnecessarily crudest, meanest person. For no reason |

Very rude and condescending. Has little time to devote to office hours. Don't send her rude emails but she will send rude emails to you. I wouldn't suggest taking courses with her. |

Insanely sarcastic, difficult, rude, cocky, and straight-up nasty to those students she doesn't like, and not at all even slightly willing to compromise. She goes out of her way to make people cry, one time targeted a black student in my class and essentially said really **** things until she sobbed. Terrible teacher and terrible and PSYCHOTIC person. |

Very tough class but not impossible if you get put in a great group. A load of reading. She is pretty mean and rough on students she doesn't like. I wouldn't suggest taking her. |

Julia Walker is one of the great prof.s I've had so far at Geneseo, along with Dr.Roz and Dr.Rommel (ed). Her class was challenging and you really had to read and ACTUALLY TRY, but in the end I learned more than I ever thought possible about Humanities. It made it a valuable class instead of just a gen ed course I had to take. liked her! |

Very Sarcastic and cocky prof.. Although she is very knowledgeable about English history,her general attitude ruins it. Just as you think you are interested her sarcasm and mood swings makes it feel like a high school class room. Unless you are willing to kissup and have a large amount of time for group projects and homework I wouldn't take her |

Walker is a difficult person to get along with- she comes off as arrogant and goes out of her way to be unpleasant to people who displease her. However, if you don't let this get to you, you will learn your things and never forget it. She teaches a great, engaging class. For pity's sake, never forget your book and always study for exams. |
