Barb is a great prof.-very enthusiastic about the subject material (especially when it comes to her monkeys!) and you can tell that she really wants each and every one of her students to succeed. This class is an simple A as long as you do the little work required and study for the exams. I rarely did any work for this class and still got a A.
Barb is outstanding. You have to put in the work, but she is a great teacher.
very friendly and friendly teacher! Her class is fascinating. exams are very difficult and she curves them. I studied 3 days straight for her final and thought I got an A on it only to find out I got a C! Her exams are worth like 75% of your grade and killed me. I got a c+ and was half a point away from a B- and she wouldnt give it to me.
Class wavers between fascinating and dull. Most people bring laptops to follow the powerpoint courses but end up doing other things. Seminar days are pretty pointless except for participation credit. Screams busy work. Barb's stories are entertaining and you definitely find out quickly that this woman loves monkeys.
Barb is an outstanding teacher and person in general. She's very laid back and actually yelled at me (in a joking way) for always calling her Dr. Welker. She prefers Barb when you get to be one of her regular students. I would recommend going to class and studying the powerpoints for her exams. The exams at points can be very difficult and simple. I recommend |
