Job Summary
The Desktop Support Technician I will have the primary responsibility to support the Desktop Environment of Nissha Medical Technologies across multiple sites in the US, Canada, the UK, and the Dominican Republic, France and Germany. In the desktop support technician role, you are expected to provide routine guidance for users of the IT system and components. You will maintain a deep understanding of IT concepts and stay updated with the latest tech trends. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the quick resolution of trouble tickets, avoiding downtime, and enhancing IT operations.

This is an in-person internship. You will be required to work at our Buffalo, NY office.

Essential Job Functions
1. Accurately diagnose and resolve technical issues.
2. Effectively escalate issues to the appropriate resources when necessary.
3. Clearly and thoroughly document requests for assistance in our ticket management system, and track incidents through to resolution/escalation.
4. Ability to prioritize work and exercise good judgment while managing multiple tasks.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
Knowledge, Skils & Abilities
  • Experience with Office 365 Software, Windows 10 & 11 Operating systems
  • Basic troubleshooting skills with wireless and wired networks
  • Basic PC Hardware Troubleshooting skills (Dell Experience a Plus)
  • Basic knowledge of PC Imaging and Software Installation
Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Pay is dependent on year of schooling.
