Time for fantasy owners to mold lineups for playoffs

Thanksgiving is here and thankfully, all bye weeks are finished.
The fantasy season is winding down. No longer having to replace your bye-week players, it's
time to turn your roster into a playoff-minded team.
Back up all your starters if they have a history of injury. If your team has been hit with the injury
bug, fix it immediately. There's always help on the wire.
Be confident in making your final roster decisions before your league's deadline because you
never want to second-guess yourself with a potential championship on the horizon.
These players should be dropped immediately if the playoffs look to be in your future.
Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick has a concussion and the Eagles are in disarray. He
should not start for the rest of the fantasy season. Move on - forget his name. Vick will be back,
just not this year.
Dolphins' quarterback Ryan Tannehill has hit the infamous rookie wall and has multiple
interceptions in the last two weeks. He can't be trusted in fantasy play if you're trying to win a
championship.
Panthers' running back DeAngelo Williams has been a huge bust in 2012. He has six straight
weeks with less than ten points. Cut him immediately.
Another fantasy bust has been Chargers' wide receiver Robert Meachem, who signed for
big money as a free agent this past offseason. He and his 14 catches should not be owned
in fantasy. Denario Alexander has taken over in San Diego and should be owned instead of
Meachem.
These players could help you finish the season strong and head into the playoffs on a high note.
Look no further than Golden Tate, the wide receiver in Seattle. He has over 10 points in four out
of the last five weeks and has gained chemistry with quarterback Russell Wilson.
If your team needs running back help, take a look at Beanie Wells of the Cardinals and Cedric
Benson of the Packers. These players have been hurt most of the season but will be starters
when they return and can help your roster in the coming weeks.
Redskins' wide receiver Pierre Garcon is another player to watch coming off of an injury.
Justin Blackmon and Laurent Robinson, a pair of Jaguars' receivers, have both recently been
playing at a high level. Blackmon is coming off a game against Houston in which he had over
200 yards receiving. In the last few weeks, Robinson has played like the guy the Jags envisioned
when they signed him last offseason.
If you're in need of a quarterback, take a look at Jake Locker in Tennessee. He could be a
spot starter or injury replacement that can help you win in the playoff weeks. He has a bigger
arm than Matt Hasselbeck and thus has the better chance at making the Titans passing game
relevant.
Take a look at what your team needs are, and fix the problem before you're out of the playoffs
and scratching your head wondering what went wrong.
Good luck to all players as the 2012 fantasy season nears its conclusion.
