Fantasy owners can find roster depth on weekone waiver wire

The NFL season may be just a week old, but hardcore fantasy players are already rummaging
through the waiver wire searching for available players poised for a breakout season.
Finding depth early in the season is a must if you're looking to win bragging rights amongst your
fellow fantasy peers. The time to find some diamonds in the rough is now - before somebody
else does.
Chances are Kevin Ogletree of the Dallas Cowboys has already been scooped up in your league
following his explosive performance in week one. Ogletree finished with eight catches for over
100 yards and two touchdowns against the Giants. Tony Romo is a pass-heavy quarterback and
Olgetree could be a beneficiary. He's been in the league for four years and hasn't had much of
an opportunity until now.
A couple of under-the-radar rookies headline a list of players you should look to add as well.
Giants' running back David Wilson would be a nice addition if you're thin at that position. The
talented runner should serve as Ahmad Bradshaw's backup this season but the Giants are
familiar with a two back system and will likely work Wilson in as they did when Brandon Jacobs
was still in town. Barring an injury to Bradshaw, expect Wilson to have a year of 500-plus yards
on the ground and at least six touchdowns.
Titans' wide receiver Kendall Wright is another talented rookie you should look to scoop up.
Kenny Britt is coming off an injury and isn't expected to have a heavy workload in week two. If
Wright and quarterback Jake Locker develop chemistry out of the gate he's almost a must-add
if you need receivers. The Baylor product was a standout player during his senior year.
Lions' running back Mikel Leshoure is suspended until week three but if you're devoid of
running back depth there is a good chance Leshoure could unseat Kevin Smith as the team's
starter. When he returns, expect about 700 yards rushing and 5-8 touchdowns. He's very
talented and he won't be available for long after he gets on the field in that high-powered
Lions' offense. If you're a Bills fan, you saw Leshoure carve up the Bills' defense in preseason.
Michael Vick's fragility makes Eagles' backup quarterback Nick Foles another player to look
out for this fantasy season. Everybody in fantasy knows how injury-prone Vick is and Foles is
his insurance policy. The rookie from Arizona had a great preseason and beat out former Bills'
starter Trent Edwards for the right to back up Vick.
Another player that could be a serviceable depth option is Miami's Davone Bess. Brandon
Marshall's trade to Chicago leaves Bess as the Dolphins' top receiving threat. He should
regularly be rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill's favorite target throughout the season.
Tannehill is more talented than his disastrous first game showed. Bess should have around 60
catches and 800 yards this season.
