Dr. Balajthy's Curr 512 class was very beneficial. He has a bundle of funny stories about his past teaching experiences. He really knows his stuff and you can tell he has a passion for the reading field. If you are already teaching professionally his class is very easy because you already do many of the things that he covers. You learn a lot of new strategies and assessments that are truly helpful to not only the literacy field but also teaching in general.
Dr. Balajthy was one of the great prof.s I've had so far. He does assign a lot of homework but it's not too difficult and you learn from it. If you take the hw projects seriously, studying for the mid year exam and final is a breeze! He also curves the exams so thats a plus! His stories can get very fascinating too so he's not dull at all!
Dr. Balajthy was a great teacher. His instructions were very clear. He had guidelines for every reading and studyguides for the exams. His instructions for the lesson plans were wonderful, and he was very clear on what to correct for the next one. He tried to be hillarious for 8:30 am. he realized that some of his jokes were out of date. That was hillarious |
