Expect to take 3-4 pages of notes per class, and study a few hours per week outside of class. His expectations are high, but this is Geneseo, right? Oh, and don't expect to do well unless you go to class. There's a HUGE difference in opinion between his courses and his assigned textbook (Miller). Superb prof., though. |

Quite possibly the worst and difficulexam prof. I've ever had in my college career. Requires you to know an unbelievable amount of information for the exams but only exams you on 1/4 of the information. Unaccommodating during office hours and in emails- always feels as though he would rather do anything than help you. Very difficult grading. |

This class was a lot difficulter than I expected and Blackman made it difficult but overall I learned a lot. Go to class and expect to study a lot for exams but if you work difficult you will do well. |
