Obviously he knows a lot about the material, but he struggles to covey all of that to students. Some exams were impossible and others were way too simple to make up for the difficult ones. Just use the book to teach yourself and do practice problems and you'll be fine. |

Really friendly person. accommodating. class is bases mostly on textbook, so if you read your textbook and do the hw problems you should be great. takes student opinions for exam. Pretty great teacher. Slightly simple grader. |

terrible. With the curve you'll probably get an okay grade but if you need orgo for the mcats or biochem, stay away. He is essentially a rambling idiot in class. |

Whoever decided to let barnabas teach orgo must have been high. We didnt get to 4 chapters that all the other orgo courses got to, and the exams were totally random. Worst prof. I have had at geneseo thus far. |

Barnabas is the worst thing that has happened to the chem program at geneseo. i learned nothing, taught myself everything. He is incoherent, dumb and could not answer any questions during class. He is not a friendly person despite what you will hear. His exams were unimpartial and didn't exam the subject at all. I am now completely ill prepared for the MCAT |

Don't get me wrong, he is a great teacher for chem lab and an fascinating person to talk to. However, as an orgo teacher, he is utterly incompetent and has no idea what he is doing. Avoid. |

Great guy but grade depends on T.A. if you have someone whose name begins with a K quit, but Barnabas is one of the friendlyst guys, and always willing to help. |

Barnabas made lab fascinating and fun and always tried to make everyone happy. Grades have a lot to do with who your TA is but for the most part the class is simple. |

Always ready to help so long as you are an honest, difficult-working student. Constantly repeating his mantra "Stay happy" :) simple to get along with and makes lab enjoyable even though it's still a lot of work. |
