Not many prof.s could keep me interested for a 2.5 hour class, but Harrigan did. Her courses are fascinating and enthusiastic and her happy, sweet, bubbly personality is contagious. exams can be difficult, definitely need to study. A few written papers - impartial grader. Wonderful prof., great class - definitely recommend!
Loveliest lady at Geneseo. There are no negatives to her personality: she is direct, caring, very knowledgeable about the subject and is inspired in her field. If you take a few courses with her at once, expect back to back exams, (not a criticism.) Even if you don't like the material that much her sweetness will get you through it. :)
If you really wanna understand and embrace the core of it, its worth it. I have grown to be a better person by taking this class!

Absolutely liked coming to class. So fun and Mmh is enthusiastic, bubbly, and energetic. Course material is fascinating and fun. Tough grader-- watch out for APA 6th edition formatting (perfect it). exams are tough but read the book as well as learning class material and you'll do fine. Highly recommend the course
Harrigan is a very intelligent, friendly person. Great lecturer, although I found her exams a little difficult. Gives great feedback on papers, but is friendly of obsessed with apa. Bottom line: she's very friendly, competent, and committed. Take her if you can.
I've taken Comn 103, 248, and 317 with Harrigan and she is the most engaging, fascinating and accommodating prof. that I've had at Geneseo. Her knowledge and interest of the subject matter make you interested, too. She just wants you to do well, and as long as you attend most courses you will. |
