For an 8:30 class, it was pretty fascinating. Kimball is enthusiastic about what he teaches. tests consist of memorizing songs, which is simple if you take an hour or two to study. He tells you everything you need to know on the exam. simple A if you apply yourself!
The great prof. I have ever had. He was so knowledgeable about each and every topic we learned. The material is really fascinating if you like music (who doesn't). Exams are a piece of cake because he basically tells you what's going to be on it. Take any course with him!!! You won't regret it.
As a non-music major needing a fine arts credit ... DONT TAKE THIS! exams are crazy difficult with at least 150 vocab terms to learn and only examed on 15. Must memorize musical pieces by hearing them. So difficult ... |
