This is probably the difficulexam class I have ever taken in my life.Chris is an very friendly, approachable guy but the class is simply unimpartial.Assigns problem sets that are entirely physics based and barely relate to what we are doing in class. Class averages on exams are in low 70s.I definitely learned calc III but pray to god I can just pull off a B-

Chris Leary is a very friendly person, but he is a very difficult instructor. The examples presented in class are the most basic example he could come up with. exams are very difficult, although he curves them based on a "maximum attainable score." I like him as a person, but I would not recommend a class with him.

Leary is absolutely useless when it comes to Calc 3. This class is seriously causing me to change my major because it's just so bad. He's annoyingly energetic. His exams are impossible based on the examples he gives you in the notes. The problem sets are laughable. The MLC can't even help you with them. Class is mpossible without a physics backgrou

Calc 3 with prof. Leary was literally the most painful academic experience I have ever had. During the semester, I had terrible stress-induced back pain. As soon as the semester ended, gone. He is sarcastic and rude and gives simple examples in lecture and then puts impossible questions on exams. Avoid his courses at all costs. Seriously.

If you have the choice of taking real analysis with him or killing yourself, kiss your mom and buy a shot gun. No book, no lecture, no internet, no fun. If I were a girl I would cry after this class everyday. Graduate late, change your major, sexual favors to the registration people, do what you have to, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Too much relied on exams where the average hovered around 55. When the class met for the final no a single person felt ready. He also relied way too heavily on the text.
