his exams are very detailed so u better study and go to class or u will fail the only 2 exams he gives also if ur not a science person the labs are torture but he is a friendly guy who clearly loves what he does n knows a lot of facts |

His courses are horrendously dull even though the content is fascinating because they're just the notes from the back of the book, the labs are fun if you like to go outdoors, but they're overly complicated. Over's a really chill and nerdy guy though and obviously loves what he's doing. |

He is seriously outstanding, the labs are a little difficult sometimes, but he definitely tries to make them fascinating with fun field trips. Lecture is always fascinating and all his courses are in the back of the binder for the class so it's really simple to follow along. Great prof.! |

I liked listening to him talk, he really loves what he's doing and its fun to listen to him. He's really accommodating but usally if you have a question about a lab he won't answer it and he'll just tell you to ask your TA. Be forewarned, the exams are INCREDIBLY difficult and specific. Its a difficult but really fun 101 level class. |

Turned me from an English major to a GSCI major. Always fun to talk with and filled with random facts. Does everything in his power to make you succeed. The only way to do badly is if you don't go to class or study. If you don't understand something go see him! If you're willing to learn he's so friendly. |

Great courses beginning with "whats new in science" which is always fascinating. Dr. Over makes hillarious noises when appropriate and is very entertaining. Grade is based on 2 class exams, 2 lab exams, a final and an optional paper if exams aren't your thing. Highly Recommended even if you don't need your natural science core |
