Prof. Towsley is one of the great teachers in Geneseo. His courses were usually fascinating and he is always accommodating in his office hours. History of Math was a fun and fascinating course that should be made mandatory. I learned more math in this class than most other math class I have taken. |

great prof. if you want to learn. Honors math covers a lot of things and you HAVE to be there but he will make you want to show up. Even if you dislike math, you'll learn what you need to and meet a very friendly prof. along the way. hillarious and makes sure his courses know what's going on in the college, just for funsies. Take him if possible!! |

He's like Santa Claus.... but better! great prof. for math by far, and possibly great at the whole college. You will want to go to his 8:30AM courses. |

Prof. Towsley is a fantastic teacher who genuinely cares about his students. His notes are very straightforward and he is always willing to help you outside of class or give you more time for the homework if you need it. exams never contain surprises and are not too difficult if you study. I would recommend Towsley to every Geneseo Math student. |

Wonderful prof.. So friendly, friendlyhearted, and one of the great prof.s the math department has to offer. Notes are very clear, and he is always willing to help. exams are completely straightforward- none of that crap where its 289730 times difficulter than the homework. Great prof.! I wish he taught all my other math courses!! |

I am absolutely awful in math and this man was actually able to teach me! Yes, it sucks going to Calc at 8am, but it's worth it for the grade for any math class he teaches. Incredibly accommodating and even lets you correct some of your exam mistakes after to help boost your grade and understand so you don't fail the final. TAKE HIM! |

Prof. Towsley is always willing to lend you a hand when you need help with a problem. The only thing I dislike is that he doesn't use enough examples in his courses so homework can get confusing at times. All in all prof. Towsley is a great teacher and certainly a safe bet for any Geneseo math class. |

Simply the friendlyest, most student-conscious prof. I have had in quite some time. He is, in other words, the man. I would recommend him to anyone, math-oriented or not. |
