Description
Centro Tinku is located in the heart of Cusco and promotes cultural exchanges through the diffusion of knowledge about Andean traditional cultures and languages. In Quechua, tinku means "encounter". Instructors at the Centro Tinku utilize the latest teaching techniques in language instruction focused on communicative methodology, supported by audiovisual and web-based media. Centro Tinku was founded in 2003 and hosts a small student population, which allows for a more one-on-one instruction.Volunteer and internship opportunities available through ELAP (Experiential Learning Abroad Programs).
