Eisenberg is wonderful! she is my favorite prof. at Geneseo and i encourage everyone to take her class. When people say she isn't an simple grader it is because they do not want to do the work. Follow her guidelines and you will get a great grade i promise! |

Dr. Eisenberg is an excellent prof.! Class is mostly group discussion and she makes it enjoyable. She always tells you exactly what she expects and grades impartially! I became a soc. minor because of how much I enjoyed her class!! |

Literally tells you EXACTLY what she expects. Very willing to help in and out of the classroom. Strict grader, but gives you an outline of exactly what you should be doing. She learns everyones name quickly so go to class. Participate, participate, participate. great luck! |

I actually dont mind her teaching, but shes such a strict grader. She teaches the class like everyone is supposed to be a sociology major which is not how a 100 level class should be taught. So prof. I know you read these comments.... I SUGGEST YOU GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE AND TEACH THE CLASS LIKE A NORMAL 100 LEVEL CLASS YOU OLD RAG!! |

RUN AWAY FAST! Do not take. She is not friendly unless you agree with her opinion. She isn't accommodating in office hours. Too much work for 100 level class. |

Eisenberg is outstanding! Only prof. I've taken multiple courses with. She IS a difficult grader, but her standards and wishes are very clear. She's accommodating and fascinating, and class goes by quite fast. If you keep up on your readings, don't leave things until the last minute, and ask for help if needed, her courses are a great deal of fun. A+++++++++++ |

Dr. E is an amazing prof. both in and outside of class. Don't be fooled by those who regard her as a tough grader, because she really isn't. Her class isn't one of those lame memorize-and-spit-back friendlys. And, to the poster below, you certainly are allowed to disagree with her. She may "shoot you down" but I think it's all in great fun. |

Okay, her class is not that difficult (although there were 2 research papers). It's her personality that grates--she expects you to reply, "Yes" and "No" to every rhetorical question that she asks, and makes faces/comments if you don't laugh at her jokes. She doesn't allow for other viewpoints, SHOOTS them down, in fact. |

Had Dr. E for Classical as well as I/S. Probably one of the great prof.s at Geneseo and probably the only Sociology prof I would take again. She is an amazing lecturer, but also breaks the class up into groups frequently...makes the class feel so much shorter. The papers require quite a bit of work, but her expectations are outlined clearly. |
