Herzman is a intelligent prof., a scholar for Dante AND Shakespeare but he has a great way of rehashing things in layman's terms. Your typical lecturer but there is just so much he knows it's an honor to take a class with him. Include DETAILS in your work. People say he's a tough grader, but that's because he can sniff out night before papers
I did not like him as a prof. at all. He was not accommodating outside of class especially through email. When inquiring about anything he is more likely to negative criticize your work than give constructive criticism. Perhaps he is a better humanities teacher, but as far as Shakespeare is concerned I would not recommend taking him!
Dr. Herzman is a really friendly guy and he makes humn concepts pretty simple to understand. He gives you a practice exam with half of the same questions as the one you get in class. However, he impossible to please on papers. This class killed my 4.0. If you're okay with a solid B then take humn with him.
Very intelligent, but speaks in a way anybody could understand. However, material is very bland which makes the 8 o'clock class a fight to stay awake. exams are simple. He is a tougher grader on papers compared to other HUM prof.s I have heard about. Overall, a friendly, modest prof.. If you can handle dull things in the morning, take him.
Monotonous, very knowledgeable, simple exams, you get a preexam with half the same questions before the exams, early morning class, difficult to stay awake. |
