This class is an absolute joke. There are 250+ students, so there is virtually no work. exams are simple, and Munnell is hilarious.
Alright, my roommate and I showed up to every class just to make sure we didn't miss the attendance quiz, which all of them ended up being extra credit. We spent half the semester playing Final Fantasy 7 on our laptops and the other half playing flash games. I got a 93.3. He got a 99.7. Guess how simple the class is. Textbook is waste of money.
Pretty simple class. Munnell is a pretty hillarious guy sometimes. You don't really have to go to every lecture or buy the textbook as long as you know the powerpoint slides down pat for the mid year exam and final.
Very simple way to fulfill the fine art requirement. Class is huge (about 275 students), so it is nothing but a survey class. With that said, don't bother reading the textbook, look at the powerpoints, which are posted online, and you will do fine in the class. Munnell also attempts to make a dull subject somewhat amusing at points. |
