He's really hillarious, but sometimes impossible to understand due to his thick accent. It isn't much of a problem because all the info is in the powerpoints. Just write down as much as you can from the lesson and you will do fine on the exams. Textbook reading does close to nothing. This does mean you need to show up to class but it's worth it!
Sushi is an eccentric prof.. impartially simple, but make sure you go to class as much as possible, he exams on material exclusively in courses and gives frequent tests and attendance credit. 2 papers, 2 pages each, impartially basic. Write down literally everything he says in class and then study that exclusively for exams. You'll do fine
So great! I thought I wouldn't survive taking a 300 level class and Comn is not my major. But!!He grades impartial and simple, really accommodating when you talk to him. Take HIm!!for real
Tajima wasn't bad in 160, aside from the way he grades papers (he covers them in red stamps of various acronyms indicating different infractions). Sometimes difficult to understand. Pop tests. I had a nightmarish experience with him in directed study. Heed my advice, avoid Tajima after COMN 160.
I absolutely LOVE Atsushi Tajima. He is easily one of the great prof.s at Geneseo. If you listen to him, you really can learn a TON about the world and material he teaches. GREAT prof., knowledgeable and really cares about all of his students.
Favorite teacher at Geneseo. I love him! |
